No child should grow up in poverty

Help support children who are going without the basics across London.

Donate

Across London, 1 in 3 children are growing up in poverty.

In some inner-city boroughs it’s as many as 1 in 2. Half of all children! Many without enough food in the fridge or even a bed to sleep.

Your donation will help transform the lives of children growing up in poverty.

  • £5 can buy a book to help a child explore new worlds and possibilities
  • £10 can provide hot meals after school for a week
  • £50 can pay for a counselling session or new item for a child’s room
  • £150 can buy a new bed and duvet
  • The Childhood Trust is a London charity funding, supporting and delivering projects helping children living in poverty. Through our own community outreach work, we transform the bedrooms of children growing up in poverty and in vulnerable circumstances. This works gives children a space to play freely, sleep peacefully and grow. We work with charities across the capital supporting children and young people with practical essentials, safe spaces, wellbeing support and opportunities to thrive. We believe that every child should have a healthy, happy and safe childhood.

Help us make that a reality.
