No child should grow up in poverty

Help support children who are going without the basics across London.

Across London 1 in 3 children are growing up in poverty.

In some inner-city boroughs it’s as many as 1 in 2. Imagine half of children not having enough food in the fridge, clothes to wear or a bed to sleep.

Even a single child growing up in poverty in one of the world’s wealthiest cities is a failure.

We can do something, together.

About The Childhood Trust and our work supporting children across London

The Childhood Trust is a London charity funding, supporting and delivering projects helping children living in poverty.

Through our own community outreach work, we transform the bedrooms of children in some of the most vulnerable circumstances, giving them a safe haven to play freely, sleep peacefully and grow.

Our work funding other frontline charities across the capital ensures that children and young people have somebody in their corner, championing them, believing in them. They provide a safe place to go where they feel seen, valued and can simply enjoy being a child.

We believe that every child should have a healthy, happy and safe childhood.

Help us make that a reality.
