Communications and Marketing Officer, full-time (£35,000 per annum)
As Communications and Marketing Officer, you will work across the fundraising, programmes and impact, and senior leadership teams to raise awareness of The Childhood Trust, strengthen our profile and influence, communicate the impact of our work and support our wider organisational goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives in London. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting grant-making, creating engaging content and assets, and capitalising on PR and media opportunities. As this is a standalone comms role, within the fundraising and comms team, this role will suit a self-starter, with the ability to work independently whilst being supported by a wider team.
Impact Manager, part-time (£40,000 per annum, pro-rata salary £32,000 for 28 hours per week)
We’re looking for an Impact Manager to lead how The Childhood Trust understands, measures and demonstrates its impact. You’ll bring together data, evaluation and storytelling to generate insight, strengthen our programmes and help shape our priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to influence meaningful change for children living in poverty across London.
Paid Youth Advisory Opportunity
We are looking for a small group of young people aged 18–25 to help us understand how the experience of poverty in London can shape young people’s lives and their experiences.
We are developing our Theory of Change (ToC) – a framework that describes the change we want to help create, the activities that contribute to that change, and the outcomes we want young people to experience.
We want to make sure our Theory of Change reflects the real experiences and perspectives of young people with lived experience of poverty.
You will work alongside our team and other young people to explore what people, places, experiences or opportunities have made a difference to you. You will also have the opportunity to develop practical skills in research, data analysis, evaluation and communicating findings.
