Prior to applying, charities will need to read the full eligibility criteria and ensure they meet it. Charities applying for the pledge model will also need to have pledges committed.
How we make our decisions
Our decision-making process begins with an initial review to ensure that applications meet the eligibility criteria.
We assess applications by considering:
- How well the proposed activity matches our mission and what we want to achieve
- The difference the project is likely to make and the potential to have meaningful longer-term impact
- Whether the organisation meets financial and legal requirements
- How children and young people are involved in shaping the proposed activity
We retain the flexibility to consider other factors that align with our overall mission.
We receive more applications than we can support and funding is not guaranteed.
