Applications for Champions for Children 2026 have closed. Our next funding round will be Christmas Challenge 2026, with applications opening in Spring 2026 – dates will be published here when available.

Champions for Children 2026
If you have applied for funding through Champions for Children 2026, the dates are outlined below. For more information, visit the application process page.
The campaign will run for 2 weeks from Tuesday, 2 June 2026 to Tuesday, 16 June 2026. Our goal is to match the success of last year’s campaign, where £4.4m was raised by 84 charities to support more than 170,000 children experiencing poverty in London.
- 5 January 2026: Applications open
- 6 February 2026 (5pm): Applications close
- 13 March 2026: Pledge deadline
- 8 April 2026: Notification of application outcome
- 2 – 16 June 2026 (midday): Campaign period
How to Apply
When open, all applications for The Childhood Trust’s two campaigns are processed through the Big Give platform. Charities not already registered with the Big Give will have to register to apply.
Applications must be submitted by the deadline as late applications cannot be considered. Unfortunately, we receive more applications than we are able fund, so funding is not guaranteed.
